As the thread title says, my Smith & Wesson 637 seems to shoot a little high and to the right of my point of aim. When I am about 6 feet from a target, all hits go where ever I put the front sight. But the farther back I get, the farther up and to the right the shots hit. When I shoot all my other snubby revolvers, I put the front sight on the target and that's where the bullet goes as long as I am within 25 yards. But not so with the 637.

Anyone else ever have this problem? I'm wondering if its the recoil and light weight of the revolver doing this. I'm pretty good with a revolver so I know it isn't all me. Obviously, my skill level and trigger control cause variations in shot placement, but what else about the gun could be causing it to shoot to the right?

No longer really matters. The revolver is sold. Someone local wanted a small carry piece. I think it had a crown problem. Another person shot it, and it did the same thing. Bullets walking up to the right once the shooter passed about 15 feet from the target.

Bought another Smith and Wesson 637 last week. Same model as the one I had trouble with at the start of this thread. No problems with accuracy with this one. I tried it from 6 feet out to about 30 feet from the target and the slowly-fired groups are within the 6-inch range.
