"Do I?? How much?"

"$200.00."

Geez...I think I paid 650 for mine.

I forget how much. A buddy needed the cash and I figured that overpaying was an honorable thing. I paid whatever he asked for.

I DO remember that it was a hell of a lot more than $200!

That was a DEAL!

M41

Bought mine in 1972 for $125 used. Won or placed in a lot of matches with it and it shoots anything I put in it except waxy bullets. Green box, bulk hi vel, Eley tenex, it doesn't care. Still shoots better than me, wouldn't take $1,000 for it. Only repair to it is replacing a spring I lost while cleaning it 10 years ago.

I bought mine for $400 way back when I was shooting Bullseye competitions. I have only shot SV through it and have never had a problem. Itis an excellent pistol and I do not regret buying it.:D

I have pretty close to a grand in my pistol with all the goodies and the spare barrel.
The pistol alone was around that $500.00 mark.

I bought mine new about 3 years ago and could not be happier with it, it has been through a ton of CCI std vel and cheap Federal bulk hi vel and has been 100% reliable.

I bought a M-41 back in 1974 for 149.00.It's the 7 3/8" bbl with the muzzle brake.Later on I bought the 5.5" Bull barrel for it.This gun hasn't been fired in several years. At one time I would go to the range almost every night shooting for a couple hours. It's had thousands of rounds put through it.Mine liked the OLD Federal Champion,it also really like the Browning Standard Velocity. That ammo was discontinued.I bought a few cases of it before it disappeared.I still have a case or two of that laying around.I can't speak for the new M41's. I know this older one has been a great gun.

The Model 41 is reliable with decent ammunition and magazines. I learned to shoot a handgun using my college's Model 41s.

I know any number of people who shoot bullseye leagues and the National Matches with Model 41s. I'd rather have the S&W than the Beretta.

"...with high velocity cartridges..." You'd be amazed at all the heated arguments that'd cause up here. "You'll break your pistol." "It's a target pistol. Don't use HV ammo in it or you'll damage it."
It gets really quiet when I tell 'em about all the Stateside squirrels that end up in a pot after being shot with a 41 and HV ammo. Of course, there's no hunting with handguns up here.
