Of course, they left this part out:
...the fact that the bill does not have even a single co-sponsor makes it unlikely that it will ever be brought to a vote before Congress, much less passed.
If we spent one tenth the time actively promoting our hobby that we do running around in circles worrying about the sky falling, we would be much better off.
 
No Danger from THAT one . . .

I wonder why everyone who passes along that particular THE SKY IS FALLING! message seems NEVER to have read the Snopes article cited therein? It clearly states there's no feasible way the bill can pass muster to become law.

For more, and better detailed information, anyone interested should read "Blind Alley on the Information Superhighway", by Chris Cox, NRA-ILA Director.

We all should certainly do our best to keep one another informed about proposed laws that could adversely effect our Second Amendment rights. It would be A Good Thing, though, if we did a bit of checking on the validity of what we pass on.
