i'm gonna send the bolt of my savage to robar and have it NP3 coated, then i'm gonna duracoat the rest of the gun myself, has anyone else ever done this?
 
Every Home Duracoat Job I have seen has looked horrible. :barf::barf::barf:
If you're sending the bolt to Robar for NP3 send the barreled action too and have them put on Black Satin Roguard. Yeah, it will cost a little more but it will be a professional job and guaranteed for life! Roguard is also a much better finish than Duracoat.
