Having a heck of a time finding one that is more secure. I have a MidwayUSA tactical case that is "lockable" but the loops on the zipper would only be able to use a mini padlock. I am looking for a case that can use a regular size padlock so I can secure the case in my truck. Do these exist and can anyone recommend one. I have called Optics planet and Midway and they were not really able to assist me. Thanks.

I fail to see how a bigger lock would make it more secure. Any half decent knife could still get the gun out, right? Or what kind of soft case are we talking here?

Just use a cable lock like they supply with most new guns. Anything more is a waste on a case that can be torn open with bare hands.

Nothing with a zipper is secure since you can pop the zipper open with a pen.

Loops on the zipper can be size enhanced with a key ring split ring. And they're cheap. Look in Wally World or and sewing shop.
However, as mentioned, it won't make any difference on a soft case.
