I've been looking for a SCAR 20 for a while, and this little dandy popped up in my search:

Sometimes you see deals that fall through the cracks but this seemed too good to be true so I used the posted images for an image search and wouldn't ya know it...

Seller has no rating and wants a non-refundable cash equivalent and is posting other people's photos. Dodged a bullet here, stay frosty.

I’d report him but that’s just me

yea, gotta say your probably right, but its important to look beyond the pics and do the research, such as you mentioned. I know I have searched for generic stock pics many times when trying to describe something (though not to sell) because it was faster/easier then taking pics. If I was selling legitimately NIB, I would probably use stock pics.

New seller, no ratings, high-demand item=run away.

On one hand I feel bad for some* new sellers because I do believe their are honest people out here trying to get started or only selling like a single firearm but yes I’m a firm believer in checking your rankings and all of the above and if my gut tells me something is off I trust it yeah I’ve missed on a couple of items but more times than not I haven’t gotten scammed because of it that’s my thoughts on the matter ymmv

I’ve bought a gun or two that had undisclosed issues that made me sell it later (disclosed)... but I’ve always gotten the gun.

That one looks phony with a capital P.

Stay safe.
