I wanted to know what the going price in your area is for a NIB SP101 w/ exposed hammer? I will begin to shop around in my area later this week and wanted to hear what the folks here are paying for their SP101’s.

I see them routinely priced at $425 plus in the Minneapolis area. If you're inclined to buy used they can often be had for considerably less.

Local Sportsman's Warehouse have them for $399. Same price for the 2-1/2" and the 3".

I paid $375 NIB about 8 months ago in Arkansas...Arkansas has the lowest COL in the US, so anywhere else probably $400 and up.

Got mine NIB on www.gunsamerica.com for $350 incl. shipping. I'm in CA, and walking into a retail gun shop is usually cost-prohibitive. Your area is likely not as bad.

Buying a SP101, 357mag, spurless, 2 1/4" @ Sportsman Warehouse in the morning for $399.

Also buying a new Alaskan in 44mag 2''. $660, which I know is about $30 high. But, it will cost me at least $15 plus my time, to travel to the shop offering the lowest price. So screw it, I'll buy both at SW. They offered price matching but only within the same city limits.
