I have a new to me SP101 in 357. In one cylinder position the cylinder latch seems to catch on the cylinder notch. In that one position I can only pull the hammer back about 3/8". It will cycle in DA in all postions, but there is a noticiable hitch in the same cylinder position that binds in SA mode. I don't see any obvious burrs or other exterior problems that would indicate a problem. I'm planning to send it back to Ruger, but first I'd like to try your suggested remedies.

Any suggestions?
