Spare $700

So i have a spare $700, and the wife is letting me spend it how i like. I collect C&R items mostly, but have a few AK's and a AR. I am trying to decide how best to spend it, i have had my eye on one of the Russian Capture K98's but i already have one with Nazi Proof marks, thought of buying another K31 but already have 2, thought of another SKS, but have 4...and so on, what should i do?

How about a SVT-40 if you can find one? Might cost a bit more than 700, but I have seen some go for around 900.

I totally forgot about the hakim's and the FN-49's! might have to add a few bucks, but that is a great idea.

Add in a box/case of the Greek HXP M2 ball for more fun! Less than .27 a round in boxes (delivered) or about .30 a round in clips and bandoleers (delivered).

I would focus on an AK that will be hard to get in the next few years. Think about it- parts kits are drying up, a new Clinton ban could be looming in 2009... why not get a nice AK-74 or something? I'm sure K98s will still be around.

If the Klintons get re-elected this round, you can expect them to try and shut down the CMP. Better buy Garands and ammo. Otherwise, they may be headed to captain crunch again.

You might get an AK type too if you like those, but I recommend the Garand. And go for the K98 too. And another K-31. And... and... and... Just whatever all you can get, get all you can. Hillary don't care; she's ticked off at all us gun owners anyway just for being gun owners.
