Special Report: Bloomberg reloads in push for gun control

According to Bloomberg "A cop got shot in the face because of an illegal gun...."
Not one word about the guy that pulled the trigger. There must not have been anybody behind the trigger. The gun just tracked this cop down and shot him all by itself.
Bloomberg is an insane idiot of biblical proportions.

Gun control people seem to make the same error in judgement over and over in thinking that taking legally purchased guns from law abiding citizens will reduce the rate of crime caused by criminals using illegally obtained firearms.

It's like jumping off a cliff to cure cancer. Or perhaps like outlawing consensual sex to prevent rape.

I get a kick out of him spending big bucks to push gun control on a televised football playoff game. My feeling is that the kind of folks that who be watching aren't the kind that would likely favor urban-style gun control.

They still haven't woke up to the fact that the literally millions of folks that are buying record numbers of guns (most of which are the kind they are trying to regulate) are likely to hit back when the election comes around. Nothing is more deadly to a officeholder's chance to be re-elected then to advocate taking something away from voters that they don't want to lose.

And the people of N.Y. keep voting him in.:banghead:
I beg to disagree. He's mayor of New York City, which is a separate world unto itself. The good folks in New York State are really not much different than anywhere else in this country, and have no say in who's mayor.

So the people in Ohio keep voting him in? Please elaborate.

It's called an "undocumented protection device". Calling it illegal is harsh and racist.
They're shot er cawps! If the Federal government isn't doing enough to police those illegal guns, NYC is just going to have to do it themselves! Support SB1071!

The people in the Greater NY area have just as much of a chance to vote for him as the people in Ohio.

I wonder if the guy that done the shooting was a repeat offender that happen to walk because of some of Bloomberg BS.
Also, he is just a 'mayor', why does he have so much influence. Just think if he was a 'community organizer'. It is unbeleivable all the coverage that these people get acting like an 'Idiot'.

Wouldn't it help his cause more if he were to claim it was a legal gun? What is he going to gain by making an illegal gun more illegal?

Kiddo's, this is the backyard to more gun control! For gods sake.....quit preaching to the choir and get active...join NRA or JFPFA and let's get this bunch outta office this year! Not to be political....facts is facts!

"The folks in New York State don't vote on the mayor of New York City. "

That's true. However, they do vote for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer. Who's just as bad as Bloomberg.

Schumer is worse because he writes laws that effect everybody in this country where Bloomberg just pays people to make straw purchases for him in other states.

And people laugh at me when I work to reduce the number of DUI arrests by lobbying to raise the legal limit to 1.08 instead of .08 :what:

It would work. Really it would. It would make the streets safer and reduce the need for so many police officers on the highways looking for DUI suspects.

See how it works? Less DUI arrests = safer roads. :neener:

I don't get it. I'm using the same method that the anti's are using and I keep getting laughed at. :banghead:

Maybe I need to run for mayor.
