Bianchi are the only ones I have.

I'm trying to save money. I just bought a K Clip and a K Pack. Why did you do this to me.I really like the Zetasix J-Pak. It’s faster than a straight speed strip.
I carry 2 in a small Velcro nylon belt pouch. They have a K size that’s great with my Kimber K6s.

So I was putting my J-frame away last night and in the bottom of my travel case were I keep some spare ammo, loaded moonclips in cases and a few spare rounds on speed-strips. Well, this is what I poured out of the pouch with loose rounds of ammo.

These particular speed strips are Tuff Products brand. They are only 1.5 years old and the only abusive thing I did to them was storing them under the back seat of my crew cab this whole summer (north Alabama). Not a big deal as I usually use moonclips, but sometimes, depending on what I am wearing, a speed strip does hide slightly easier than a moonclip.
Has anyone seen similar? Is there a better quality speed strip I should consider?
Sounds like a market opportunity for someone to develop steel speed strips.
Someone came up with an interesting design for one:
Sadly, it never went anywhere it seems.
I carry five in my six shot speed strip, because I like the gap in the middle to hook a finger through.Speaking of speed strips I saw a guy carrying 5 rounds in his 6 round strip. When asked why, he replied that he had a five shot revolver. When asked if perhaps loading six is a better idea, maybe an extra round might come in handy, I got the epiphany look.
That looks nice but for my 442 if I am going to carry a speed strip that has that much bulk I might as well carry a moonclip. I like speed strips because they are flat and go into places/pockets a moonclip cannot.View attachment 1108896

Not sure those three would lineup with the smaller 5-shot cylinder of a 442.

please see the zeta6 “jpak” and “jstrip.” mine work fine.
What don’t you like about Tuff’s speed strips?Bianchi and DeSantis both have good speed strips. I only use tuff products for calibers and round counts that aren’t covered by the others.
They are so stiff. Even after they loosen up I can peel off rounds into the charge holes much quicker with the others I prefer. For me these days it doesn’t matter much because I prefer to carry a speed loader and a 2x2x2 belt pouch anyway. What don’t you like about Tuff’s speed strips?
Makes sense. Thanks! They are so stiff. Even after they loosen up I can peel off rounds into the charge holes much quicker with the others I prefer. For me these days it doesn’t matter much because I prefer to carry a speed loader and a 2x2x2 belt pouch anyway.
