Are parts available for these guns? Just wondering if one might get a spare trigger guard to mess around with to see if one might produce a sort of replica Cofer revolver with. Although I seem to recall the Cofer used a Remington type one screw system for hand and sear, who is gonna notice if they are concentrating on a spur trigger and brass frame?
My failure to strike while the iron is hot has caused me to miss both a complete S&B repros and a kit. I tend to think too hard about my purchases and it costs me. Like many here that write in "I saw an XXXX at my local (pawn shop, LGS, or range) and thought I would find out more about it and its value before I......" And as sometimes happens here and seems to always happen to me, once I get up the nerve and money to go back for it is gone. Don't get me started on the like new in the box stainless ROA, with .45 Colt conversion cylinder, Lee bullet Mold, basket weave holster, basket weave powder flask both original and faux ivory grips and a cleaning kit for $500 out the door that I actually came home to speak to the spousal unit about...........
Strike while the iron is not only hot, but the right color. Heed my stories that you may not be an "If Ida" like kBob.
