I wanted another 1911 9 mm like i used to have, used to have a colt. I love kimbers but have recently been reading about the swartz safety so i bought a springfield loaded 1911 9 mm and am very disapointed.
Well not in the shooting but in the disassembly area.
The only way i found to remove the slide is to use the allen
Wrench and take out the spring rod so the bushing would swivel.
Really? Do i have to take tools to get the gun apart? Thats the
Craziest thing ive ever heard of. Also dont like the spring being all
Scruntched up unsupported trying to fish the rod back through the
Spring to reassemble.
