I won a Springfield XD40 last month at a match. Had no interest in these things until I started handling it. I really like it. Much more than any Glock I have had or shot. Only thing needed at this point is some trigger work--lighten, shorten reset and shorten overtravel.
I have searched the web and the XD forums and there is simply no info out there on how to do all this. There are a few companies that will do it and have a good rep. I am not too keen on sending it out though. I prefer to do it myself. Anyone have any experience with these? If nothing else, I'd like to smooth up the trigger break a little. Looks like it could be done with some minor stoning and polishing in keys areas.
