I'll admit that the CZ Bren 805 is about my favorite duty/military carbine. CZ discontinued it in 2018 in favor of the Bren 2/806 which seems to have some issues. I've been on the fence about whether to sell mine or keep it; love the rifle but parts could be an issue down the road.
Well, ultimately life is short! I love the gun so I decided to spruce it up a bit. If I ever sell it down the road the buyer will get some bonus parts. I added Keymod rails on the sides and bottom from KNS Precision. They used to offer M-Lok as well but they're discontinued now. I prefer Keymod over M-lok but the latter seems to be more popular now. I stuck a BCM stubby VFG on the bottom rail. Next I replaced the stock with a Magpul ACR with an adapter from Dan Hagan Designs. IMO it's the best folding stock out there. Lastly I replaced the stock mount that came with my Aimpoint PRO with a 1.57" Scalarworks mount. It's vastly lighter, less bulky, and put the PRO at the 1/3 lower cowitness vs the absolute cowitness height of the original.
It's wearing a Surefire X300 Ultra right now but I'll replace the light when I decide what to go with. Maybe I'll put my Cloud Defensive OWL on the Bren 805.
