Nothing like a crisp fall day and a .22.

That's what I want to see, keep the pictures coming. I plan on getting out this weekend, should be much cooler and they should be moving good.

Good shooting, is that a Ruger Mark II? I have a Browning Buckmark that I am going to try to get them with this year.

Here in Ga, season opens in mid August. A little hot for me until late Sept, which is ok since I don't bow hunt.
Season runs thru end of Feb, but best get them before Dec, after that, seems like the Hawks get them all!

Here in NE Kansas, I've been out fishing and the mornings and evenings are getting cooler. The evenings seem particularly alive with squirrels. I plan a big fishing trip next weekend then my attention will turn to squirrels. It is truly gratifying to me that at the age of 70 I still get excited about chasing and eating squirrels. In contrast, I really enjoy fishing, but rarely keep any and I'll chose hunting over fishing any time.
