My 220 ST is VERY accurate. So accurate, in fact, that I had to buy a 226 ST to keep it company. Just shot it last weekend, and it's every bit as accurate as the 220 ST. Only difference is, I have to use a bull hold w/ the 226 ST and a 6:00 hold w/ the 220 ST. These guns are sweet shooters, boy, and the additional weight really makes recoil a non-issue. I'm in Sig heaven, baby.

:D

I have a friend who has 3 220's. I have shot all of them and the one that shoots the best is one of the regular ones that has been worked over. The next best shooter is the stainless with no custom work...

I'd love to see what the all stainless one would do with some custom work!

Darn it, lunde!! :cuss:

(Actually, I drool everytime I click on Dr. Lunde's pistol wallpaper page! :D )

Nero,
You and me both. I would like to have a P225 ST That would be a great 9MM(wish thay could make it hold 1 or two more rounds)

I also would like to see:

1) A P229 ST

2) a GSR commander size 1911

3) A P245 ST

4) A P239 ST

5) and a Pocket sized 9MM or .40 ST (think Kar MK )

Sweet! I recently decided a P226R ST 9mm is my next acquisition. I have a P232 .380 in stainless and it's a gem...

I may sound like an ignoramus, but whats the difference between a Stainless two-tone Sig and a Sig with a blue finish (my 226R says stainless on the slide).

All recent-vintage 226's have stainless slides. The two-tone has a nickel finish on the slide w/ matching finish on the controls and hammer and trigger. A nitron (w/ stainless slide) -- i.e. "blued" -- has a nitron/black finish on the slide. Both have the standard black polymer frame. The ST model has no finish on the slide, just "exposed" matte brushed stainless; the frame is also stainless.
