I had pre-ordered a copy back in the fall and it came today.

This is a major update. The layout has been completely revised, the version (dash) numbers and values are updated, and all of the pictures are now in color. The glossary is illustrated, and there are sections on serial numbers and listings of guns by caliber. A lot of work went into this.

Congrats to Richard Nahas and Jim Supica for cranking out a major new edition.

Mine came on Wednesday too.

+1 on your comments. It's a beautiful book!:)

Les, I'm from K-town also.

I got mine yesterday. It's indispensable to the S&W pawn shop scrounger/treasure hunter, worth twice as much as you pay for it! Fantastic job Jim and Richard!

Hogwash!!

It is next to worthless, and besides - if the common people learn of this it will be much harder to steal .... ah ..... I mean .... aquire some of the better pieces for reasonable prices... :D

Heh

Couple more thoughts. It has a nice section on grips and boxes.

The other thing is that it's really gorgeous. The 2nd edition wasn't unattractive by any means, but this book is much more visually appealing. When flipping through it there's plenty to attract the eye.

Lesjones,

Thanks for the Heads-up! I will be adding this one to my Library ASAP.
