They are pretty large, the plastic seems very strong and there is a good quality to these. A peek at Ebay forced my hand, after all If I dont use it, making a 40$ profit isnt too bad.

Just picked one up at the Eagan, MN Sams. Called around to find one, they had it for just under $60. Got to the store, wandered around, found the gun cases, but they weren't starlights. Some other brand with a nice shiny surface for $50. Finally found the Starlights in the back corner by the freezer section. Still 10 or so there for anyone interested. Thanks for starting this thread, I'm impressed by the case.

they had these cases in a huge pile - $65.61 apiece
Yeah, I went back today and that's how much it rang up for so I declined the purchase. I guess they had mismarked the one my wife bought for $25. I feel sorta guilty, but she didn't know at the time. If they drop them anytime soon, I'll buy another and may do so anyway. $65 is still a great deal on these. BTW, for those of you who are waffling, their literature says they are airproof and waterproof. Supposedly, you can use a one as a flotation piece. AND, you can drive a Humvee over them w/o breakage. I'm not sure how I can make use of those features, but you never know.

My local Sam's Club didn't carry them.
They did, however, have for several months a similar case that was made out of Alunimun Diamond Plate. They were about $125. They had about 200 of them. A few weeks after Christmas they dropped them down to $67 and POOF they were gone! If I had known I would have bought everyone they had for the low price.
