..sold off everything, have learned a lot from trial & error at some expense...I now have one gun...an excellent 1923 Colt Hammerless .32 automatic, I already have someone holding a flat-new in-the-box Colt Official Police from 1937(can't wait to see that!)for me...and am looking for a extra-nice M1 from the 50s...I intend to look more slowly and buy less than before...what is my cream-to-be-found gun?...an early minty 2nd generated Colt SAA 45!(a Colt 45 Gov't is also a must-find!)..I should augment things with a nice S&W...

I am in the same boat as you I sold off all my guns after geting sick and being diagnosed with kidney failure to help pay medical expenses. I sold over 40 guns just keeping my single shot 22 LR that my dad gave me when i was 8 and also kept my Smith and Wesson model 19 that was my first duty weapon that i carried when i first became a police officer.

Now i finally got to the point where i can start collecting a few guns again and Friday i pick up a Bersa 22 caliber pistol and a smith and wesson Model 66 with a 4" barrel, and look forward to my collection to start growing again .
