Stealth gear holster

I saw a video clip once comparing Stealth Gear, Crossbreed, and Alien Gear. (Top to bottom, cost-wise. More or less the same thing.) They are pretty much the same thing, just with different materials. The conclusion was they all work, for the material quality, you pretty much get what you pay for.

I have been using a Crossbreed for years, I would like to try a Stealth Gear, as they are a local company. Maybe when the Crossbreed for my 1911 wears out, I will give them a call.

I ordered their Onyx a few months back; i have not worn it much due to not ccw'ing that particular gun a whole lot. I can tell you that the light weight and quality impressed me when I picked it up. The breath-ability of the design is similar to a water shoe, so that works for me in humid South Florida.

I bought a Crossbreed for my Glock after reading about your experiences with yours about 4 years ago. It was a great purchase, and worth every penny. I've since switched to AIWB, but none of the considerations guiding that choice had anything to do with the Crossbreed, which is top notch.

@OP

PM me if you'd like to buy the holster I mentioned. It shows some wear from carry but function is still as great as day 1. Supertuck Deluxe w/ combat cut, I believe was the nomenclature on the order.

$30 shipped if you're interested, second pic from the top. https://imgur.com/a/uzgiQ

I use an Onyx StealthGear holster in the summer with an LC9. Very comfortable and conceals very well with this small pistol. Seems to be well-made. In the winter I am using an Alien Gear Cloak 3 with a P229 or 220. The AG quality is not as obvious as the SG but is costs a whole lot less. Both brands are very good IMHO. I bought a Crossbreed IWB that I returned due to the retention being too tight and not easily adjustable. CB was well made I just wanted to adjust retention with a screw instead of a hair dryer.
