Stevens 200 Stock Replacement

Will aftermarket stocks for the Savage 110 fit the Stevens 200? I have the 200 in 30-06. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

is your stevens 200 a staggered feed or centerfeed. When you remove the action from the stock is the mag box attached to the stock or the action? This is really important

It is centerfeed and is attached to the stock.

On a side note, how do you like that rifle, I have talked to a few people in the gun biz who say that rifle is by far and away the best shooting rifle for the money. Thoughts?

All I have to say is that it's unbelievable that a rifle of this quality costs what it does. Mine came with a piece of crap BSA on it and I was still getting like 2-3" groups. I just recently mounted a Nikon Buckmasters but have yet to hit the range and sight it. I absolutely cannot wait.

The Stevens 200 is pretty much the Savage 10/110 without the accu-trigger, Interesting about the magazine difference. I might be wrong, but you would think that the stocks from a pre accu-trigger 110 would fit the 200 just fine.

I own a Stevens 200 in .308. [300.00] with a Shooters edge scope 4x16 x40 [69.00]. If it is a center feed, you might want to try Micro fit stocks. But I took off the stock, filled in the forward webbing with bondo, put sand in the stock, and camoed it by wallpapering a vinyl rain poncho in Realtree hardwoods to the stock. Got tired of looking for a stock that would take 18 weeks to get. This rifle with hand loads will get 3/8 to 1/2 " groups at 100 yds. Took a 7 point with it this year, they are very accurate. You might want to contact Savage, and see if you can buy a vented thumb hole stock from a Model 11 for it, any of their new stocks for center feed will fit. Been there done that, did it myself. A model 70 Winchester Limbsaver will fit the stock. Hope that helps the pain some. You have a nice rifle, with money left over for goodies.

I think Stockade is making stocks to fit it. You just need the stock that fits the 3 digit Savage.

I decided to just paint my own instead. I also plan to fill the stock with sand. How did you go about doing that? Just stick it in a bag and drop it in?
