Mine is a good shooter. The trigger is nice but the break has a tiny amount of creep that gives it a weird feeling. Kind of like celery snapping. A tiny perceived deflection then a break. If that makes sense. The reset is nice and short. IMO the trigger is much better than anything on the majority of polymer factory guns. Mine is a PW arms import with a 2003 date on the inside of the frame. The new ones with the roll pin are supposed to be even better.
I love the trapezoid sights. It is really easy to tell if you have the sights misaligned which by itself makes the steyr a more accurate gun for me to shoot.

Think of the pistol as a lever. A higher axis means more leverage.The bore axis looks really low on those pistols. How does that translate to percieved recoil?
