Have been searching ,but cannot find a reference to fixing sticky extraction in revolvers. Could someone please tell me how to do this? I have an sp-101 (at the factory) and a GP-100 that both have issues with cases sticking in the chamber after being fired.

Thanks Much

Factory ammo or reloads? I have a GP-100 and the chambers are very smooth, no sticking unless the reloads are getting into dangerous pressures. How clean are the chambers, dirty chambers will make for difficult extraction.

Chambers are clean, will do this with factory or reloads, though I shoot mostly reloads. Reloads are definetely not high-pressure.

Have had sticky extraction with .38 and .357. Took bull by horns and gun a light chamber polish using fired case, small bolt, toothpaste and cordless drill. Will check the gun this sunday at the range..
