Hello all,
I've been working on a custom build for an American ranch rifle, and I'd like to upgrade the stock. I actually have several of the stanag pattern (AR-15) magazine American rifles, and at least two need a better stock. Been looking at the Boyd's spike camp, which isn't technically available yet, and also the MDT chassis options. The custom is supposed to be a light walking varminter, and I like the spike camp look, but it seems like it might be too bulky. I know these aren't the only options out there, but my searching has been dead ending at these options. What else should I be looking at that I haven't found yet?

I have an American Predator in 6.5G. It shoots lights out, but the stock is just plain ugly. The fact that the trigger guard is plastic molded into the stock drives me crazy! My only fear is that the bedding on a replacement stock might be a little different and affect the way that it shoots.

Interested in what options might be out there.

I have one of those Grendel's as well, and that one I wouldn't mind in a chassis. The Ruger stocks are serviceable, but cheap looking and feeling. For a custom build I wanna class it up.
