As someone else mentioned that they were slowing down or had stopped shopping for any new guns, I have realized that I have many more than I can wear out in a lifetime.......maybe even with unlimited ammo. Anyway, I think we should ALL stop and "smell the roses" , or in our case, the gunpowder. Even though we are currently in a shortage of .22 ammo, powder, primers, or economical and plentiful ammo, I think we should take a step back, and just enjoy SHOOTING when we get the chance. Take a friend, a kid, the wife, or even go solo into the deep woods with a box or two of .22's. We get so wrapped up in this and that, what's the best gun, etcetera, that we miss out on the joy of using a gun for recreation. The fact that I have loaded more ammo in the last two years than ever before has left me with a fair supply of it, but more so, I have rediscovered the pleasure of reloading (although I had to slow down a bit mentally to do that, too). I can truly appreciate a finely crafted rifle round, and the time it takes to bring it all together. NOW I'm going to go use up a few, and enjoy some inner peace.
