I got to shoot a K31 over the summer and loved the action, but the expensive round has me not wanting to pick up the rifle, are there any good rifles with a straight pull bolt in .22?

I think I saw an Imez or Izhmash or something of that sort with one? maybe?

Browning made a straight pull 22rifle some time ago called the T-Bolt that was made in Belgium. I understand the Browing Arms has reintroduced this rifle but is on the expensive side around 6 or 7 hundred bucks.

Look for biathlon rifles. They are typically straight pull. Izhmash makes a couple versions.

new T-bolts are amazing. Accuracy is great, overall finish is top knotch. A couple nitpicks is that there is no way to keep the bolt closed (safety, etc) if you bump it, it will fly open.

Trigger assembly is plastic, and triggers (on certain models) are shiney gold plastic. Looks nice or very tacky depending on the rest of the rifle trim. I have a stainlses varmint with laminated stock so it doesn't look too out of place.

Trigger is very crisp with no creep and very little overtravel, but it cannot be adjusted to as low as I'd like. It is probably right under 3 pounds and on the low side of adjustment.

I agree with the b.b.'s( biathlon basic), also check the finnish lion. lotta money though. however the b.b.s can be had for a reasonable price, and can be quite accurate. Also check annies (anschutz), and you can see, or call CZ, if they have any biathlon/ olympic winter style rifles.

My 2010 version of the T-bolt is very well made and shoots well. Action is smooth and positive and the entire rifle is a very nicely balanced lightweight rifle.
