Streamlight TLR-1 Review with pics. Outstanding light

I've had mine for 3 or 4 years now, and couldn't be happier with it. I'd like to buy several more of them, as this one gets switched from a handgun to an AK to a 10/22 to my bicycle handlebars. In other words, I use it a lot!



Not a very good picture of the light here, but it's mounted on a little stub of rail on the for end of my 10/22 for armadillo patrol.

Just be careful when setting it aside in a pistol bag. I was on a recent trip and took my SIG P220 with the TLR mounted and although I didn't take the gun out to shoot I did move it around while on the trip. Took it out upon arriving home and discovered that the battery was spent. Somehow the switch was turned out while inside the (soft) LA Police Gear pistol bag.
