Strike One Pistol

The only thing I have heard is the trigger is very long and the reset is actually the same length. One of the podcasts I subscribe to said that at shot show they had to shake the pistol to get the trigger to reset. They also said the price point will be around $800.
I can get a whole lot in that price point and the strike one won't be it.

If the trigger reset is indeed as long as you heard it certainly significantly detracts from some of the advantages this pistol may have.

Yup. That pistol would be interesting to me entirely for it's "go fast" capabilities. If it has a long trigger with a long reset? Might as well not even try it.

I saw it featured on a couple episodes of Tac TV. At first I was interested, but I don't see it being advantageous over a tried and true, cheaper, Glock 17. The low bore axis isn't enough to make up for the long draw trigger and equally long reset. I want to get into competition shooting, and thought this might be the gun to do it with, but no. I am going to pass. Not enough going for it to justify the price tag.

This is made by the same.company who created the double 1911.

I have handled the Strike One at the last couple SHOT Shows and I have to say they feel very junky. It feels more like a toy than a gun. Slide fit is terrible and the springs snap, crackle, and pop when you operate it. If you close the slide slowly, they hang up 3/8" from lock up, I think money would be better spent on a Hi-Point.

But, I haven't shot one. These are the pistols they take to the show though, it seems a company would put good examples out at shows but maybe they put a couple lemons on the table.
