I'm looking for stripper clips for a K31, an Enfield, a 1917 30-06 Enfield, and MN 91/30s.

If you know where I can get working stripper clips, do tell.

The clips for the K31 are pretty fragile (tin and cardboard) and don't last long. I have some I bought at gun shows, but consider them display only. British SMLE/No.4/No.5 clips are common at gun shows and also are used in the Pattern 1914. Model 1917 clips are the same as Model 1903 clips; brass ones are getting scarce, but WWII steel clips are common and less than $1 each. Russian clips likewise are common and you often get them with surplus ammo.

Any high-quality 1903 clips, like stainless?

What about better quality K31 clips? Or are they one use only?

I used to shoot a K31 in a monthly match. I did so for a couple years. I bought the chargers from Sportsman's Guide and never had the slightest problem. The rounds flow into the rifle like butter. The ones I bought then, look just like new now and I would honestly say that I probably used them more than most people ever would. They arn't made out of metal, but they work fine for me. Maybe if you had them in ammo pouches and were humping your gear up and down the Alps in the snow, they might not last. For US range use, they are terrific. Keeping ammo loaded in them helps them to be more rigid and hold their shape. They are by far the smoothest loading chargers I have ever used.

http://www.champchoice.com/shop.php?action=search&searchterms=stripper+clips has real nice stainless stripper clips that I use in my 1903s. They work great. They may actually be for an M14, but I use them all the time in my 1903 and have for several years. My 1903 is the rifle I now use in that match that I used to shoot with my K31. Reloading is on the clock: smooth, quick reloads are a factor in winning this match.

I never found a Russian clip that worked at all for any Russian rifle.
Enfield clips are so-so: they work but not well.
