Stupid question...but

I just got a Yugoslavian SKS with bayonet and cannot figure out how to get it to the extended position.

Any help?

Does the base of the bayonet pull back away from the nub and allow it to rotate? I ask instead of saying for sure as my SKS has no nub, and didn't have one when I got it.

Pull the little "collar" towards the butt of the rifle, hold it in place while extending the bayonet forwards.
