Suggestions for modification/refinishing services?

I recently picked up an excellent shooting Sig P6, but the grooved front strap chews up my fingers and I'd like to have the gun refinished. I was pretty set on using CCR for the refinishing despite the string of poor CS reviews I've read recently, but now I'm left wondering if there are shops out there that can grind back those grooves AND refinish it. Customized Creationz comes to mind (and I like the look of their work), but I'm curious if there are other options. Any suggestions?

If you're interested in an extremely durable finish like hard chrome then I would tell you to contact Ron Mahovsky of mahovskysmetalife.com. I'm not sure about getting your grip area modified but they do great work with their refinishing service.

Check out Accurate Plating and Weaponry in Florida. They have a website. They did all of our plating and bluing work for almost 10 years and we never had any problems with their work. They also have quite a few gunsmiths that have worked on just about everything. Their shop is as clean and organized as an aerospace hangar. These guys aren't messing around.
