Really hot weather I carry one (or more) of the following.
Glock 27 ( one of three )
Kahr PM9
Smith & Wesson Model 60 38 Special
Smith & Wesson Model 640 38 Special
Colt Detective Special
Smith and Wesson 342 Airlite Titanium 38 Special
Smith and Wesson 642 .38 Special
Smith and Wesson 640 Pro .357
Ruger Sp101 357
2 inch Smith & Wesson Model 64 .38 Special
2 1/2 inch Smith and Wesson Model 66 .357
Colt Pony Pocketlite .380
Walther PPK .380
Glock 26 9mm
Colt Officer's ACP Stainless .45 Auto
Glock 30 .45 Auto

Something small, easy to conceal with just a shirt and shorts. Ruger LCP, or something like it. Stainless would be a plus for obvious reasons.

Don't forget a good bathing suit holster. :D

I rotate my carry guns depending on how I am dressed. The guns I rotate are: Kahr P380, PM9, Beretta Nano, Kimber Solo, and Walther PPS. The P380 is the easiest to carry and conceal as it is the smallest and lightest in weight. The PM9 and Solo are next in line in ease of carry, then the Nano, and finally the PPS. That said, usually choose one of the 9mm if possible simply because I like the 9mm over the 380. I find no significant differences in accuracy, reliability, maintenance between the guns.

I carry a Glock 26 because that's what I have. IWB Galco with the spare magazine pouch built in. Does get a little damp and sticky, but relatively comfortable. A good pair of cotton boxer-briefs and a strong thick gunbelt keep it from moving around and irritating the area when it does get damp. Also try pre powdering with talcum around where the holster will have the most contact. Helps alot.

Though I carried my M&P40c in a tuckable IWB holster last year as well as a K9 on occasion in a Thunderwear holster, I plan on scaling down to my P238HD and spare mag for carry during daylight hours.

Considering how well I can shoot this small thing (some impressive groups with 95gr Winchester RA380T!), I figure 7+1 rounds with a spare 6-round mag will suffice for most likely encounters... which is most likely to be a belligerent drunk who pulls a knife on family or an aggressive stray dog. Fortunately, any coordinated assault by an armed street gang is exceedingly unlikely in my town.

Obviously this is a serious step down from my M&P40c, but I do live in a fairly safe location and if I get even the slightest scent of danger before leaving the house or if it will be dark before returning home, it's back to the M&P or K9.

I had a Kahr PM9 for years - when I got an M&P Shield last year - I sold the Kahr that very same week. Fantastic pocket gun

I carry a Kahr P380 inside jacket pocket over my heart in the cold 6 months of the year.

I carry a Kel-Tec P3AT 380 clipped into my pants front pocket in the warm 6 months.

In a bad neighborhood, like Seattle at night, I will have a handgun in each hand in my jacket pockets, typically a 1911 with 45 Super loads in the right hand and a Kel-Tec PF9 with 9mm +P+ loads in my left hand.

In the bed stand I have a 357 mag and a big flashlight that is like a club.

My usual carry is my G23, but once I got my Gen4 19 that started to become my favorite. Then my wife bought an SR9c. The SR9c is rapidly becoming my favorite. We need to stay out of our LGSs.

I carry a Beretta Nano all year round. I even go jogging with this thing using a belly band, very light and comfortable . In addition, beware the Beretta forum, the mods are total losers.

Pretty much carry my PM9 all year around, but will switch off from time to time depending on the weather and where i'm going. In hot humid summer months I 'll pocket carry my P3at. In winter months I could switch off to a larger pistol with a larger round count from time to time. For the most part though it's the PM9.

Either a Kahr CM9 9mm, or Ruger KLCR .357mag, all year. Both are light, highly concealable in many ways, reliable in their own way (revolver-inherent, auto-many flawless rounds), and very accurate.

I am 5' 7". 150 pounds. 70 years young.

Fall...Kimber UCC II .45 ACP
Winter...Kimber UCC II .45 ACP
Spring...Kimber UCC II .45 ACP
Summer...Kimber UCC II .45 ACP

SR9c year round. Next two guns will be SR45 & Sig P290, so my carry decisions may change after I get the Sig.

But maybe not. SR9c is my perfect CC gun.
