Have to look professional at times, so I looked for a tuckable holster. K40 is away for sight adjustment, so I tried G17 in a GCode holster meant for a G19, with an IWB adapter. Pictures show Zander modeling the holster.

The whole rig is very comfortable. Nylon shield conforms to the body shape. The concealment is very good, as not even the straps are visible with the shirt bloused a little. I think that Desantix Inner Piece or Galco Southern Comfort would look dressier but this one wins on comfort and versatility...and I don't much care about dressy, as the holster shouldn't be seen. Besides, my work belt is black and not brown, so the loops blend in better. Nice to be able to carry a full-size sidearm and not a compact.

Attach a key ring to the front loop and a wallet chain/wallet to the back loop, and nobody will wonder what those mysterious nylon loops are for.

Oleg,

Who makes that GCode? That just might be the ticket I've been looking for. My problem when wearing IWB is that if I don't have an undershirt on, the gun starts scraping my side. This rig looks like it solves that problem.

Runt, thanks for the tip, I should try that with my tuckable.

I love my tuckable Blade-Tech so much I kind of regret spending the money on my excellent Milt Sparks EX :(

Bladetech is another one I've been meaning to look into... not enough time or money I guess.

So, Skunk, did you use the bladetech with your old USP .45C? I remember seeing a picture of it with some leather holster.

No, I sold the USP45C. I have the Blade-Tech for my P7M8 as well as a NICE sharky Sparks belt. I'm going to get the Blade-Tech (mit faux-Carbon Fiber) for my Berettas.

Darn, they took the URL I wanted for my startup holster company!!

I will be in the market for an IWB holster soon (soon as I lose enough weight to stuff one in my existing pants). I'm considering the G-Code, a Comp-Tac CTAC, and the Milt Sparks VersaMax II/HR-LTD. I prefer Kydex for a holster body, but I have one question about the G-Code: how does the nylon insert compare in terms of width/bulk? Anyone have experience with these models?

SADshooter,
Minimum bulk and all-day comfort were among the primary concerns during the design phase of this project. The nylon portion is padded, very thin and flexible so as to completely conform to your body shape. It rest between you and the holster. Combining these features with the already low profile G-Code holster results in the flattest silhouette IWB available. The system was intended to provide an elevate level of comfort even with full sized weapons. Care was also taken to insure the availably of a proper firing grip on the weapon prior to the draw even though the carry is of the “deep concealment†variety. With it you also have options as to the height of the weapon carry. Another nice feature is that from time to time you can remove it from the holster and wash it. If you live in a warm climate you’ll understand what a benefit that is. The IWB adaptor is part of the G-Code modular system and if you presently have a G-Code holster it will interchange with your current setup. This saves you money if the budget is tight without limiting your options. As with many of our items this IWB is a new approach to solving old problems.

Runt I like the key ring suggestion! I think that I may just look for one to offer as an add-on to the rig.
