Just felt like sharing the photo of the largest mount conversion batch we've ever done. 128 suppressors!

Most of them are AAC, but nearly anything can be converted to either 1.375-24 Bravo ("HUB") pattern or 1.125-28 Alpha pattern, so if you have an old can with a worn out, damaged or just generally crappy mounting system that you don't use anymore for that reason, do not despair! It can most likely be remedied. There are a few 3D printed critters that aren't safe to convert, and it's not a real good idea with OSS cans, but most others are good to go.

All the work you've ever done for me has been great. Glad to see you keeping busy.

Some day, when I hit my forever home in Woodland Park... I intend to bother you a whole lot more

Haven’t kept up with the latest cans, mind’s still stuck in the era of AAC’s 762-SDN-6...

What mounts (who makes them?) are popular now?

Thank you for the kind words!

Keeping busy would be a bit of an understatement, though. Lol. We're barely keeping up with two CNCs and an employee now, just brought in a Mazak Integrex 5 axis millturn to try to get closer to where we need to be. We'll need more lathes, but we're maxed out on our 400 amp service with these 3 CNCs plus the manual machines, so it'll be a minute.

This corridor was clear floor space two years ago:

The whole North side that's occluded by these machines is populated with manual mills, lathes, welders, heat treat oven, etc. Behind and left would be our moly resin application area and laser engraving station, to the right are several 4×6' shelving units of parts, mounts and adapters.

Getting material in time has become an issue, though. We are still waiting on almost 600 feet of stainless bar that should have shipped in late July. There was a time when three 12' bars was over a month's supply; we burn through that in a couple days now, fill a dozen 32 gallon cans with chips about every 6 weeks.

Oh, man......spin a wheel and see where it lands! So many options when you can use Bravo threaded adapters. Dead Air Keymo is very popular, so is Q cherry bomb pattern but with mounts and muzzle devices from other manufacturers. Griffin taper mounts are always a go-to, lots of guys like YHM, some choose SilencerCo ASR. Several PRS guys like Area 419 stuff. We have our Gyrex taper mounts that quite a few conversion or recore customers and buyers of our cans have chosen:

We also make adapters in house for Rugged muzzle devices, TBAC CB muzzle devices, SAS T.O.M.B. and others. And we convert Surefire trainers or Wardens for guys who are dead set on that system, but for which surefire has never offered a removable mount:
