i like the yhm cobra m2 has built in nielsen device and is easy to disassemble for cleaning.
step 1. order with 1/2x28 threads
step 2. order threaded barrel for 9mm pistol you already own
step 3. buy 9mm upper for your ar-15 already threaded 1/2x28
step 4. have fun
I just bought a Thompson Machine Poseidon micro-9mm suppressor. Still waiting for my stamp so I haven't shot it yet but I have high hopes for it. Its cheap, very small, very light, and a true multi-cal unit. But if you plan on a lot of high volume shooting I would recommend something else, I can already see that replacing the wipes will become a hassle over time.
That I am not sure, that is the stock photo from Thompsons Machines website. Ill be running it on my M&P 9, but ill have a report once I finally get my stamp back. Im assuming its like the majority of cans and your left without a usable pair of sites, or you can buy raised sites. http://www.thompsonmachine.net/?page_id=99
The Gemtech Tundra is a good one from what I hear. Their .223 suppressor is okay but I still have to use hearing protection with standard ammunition. The pistol suppressors seem to have more baffle chamber which will be much more effective.
Gemtech trinity Glock 17 J-Point Sight. Search You-tube with Gemtech trinity Glock 17 J-Point Sight to see it in action.......I can't even begin to count the number of Az Jack Rabbits that have fallen to this combo! Works for me
AAC TiRant in 9mm is... astounding. Right now, I don't believe there are any other 9x19 silencers that give that level of performance. It makes the silenced 9mm sound like a silenced .22lr. Simply amazing.
It is a J-Point sight. With the suppressor on the end of the Glock, I couldn't hit anything small. The point of impact changes.....Now I can't remember when I have ever missed a jack! I have a multi-mount so I can stick it on several guns....The Old S&W 422 was made for a can. With the low barrel and high sights it works great!
The TiRant is pretty much the gold standard right now in 9mm and .45.
And I second Al's recommendation for Innovative Arms. They do excellent work and will happily do custom suppressor work for you. Right now I'm talking with the owner about doing an integrally suppressed Marlin Camp 9 with a removable core for cleaning. I've been shooting one of his .22 cans for quite a while now and am perfectly happy with it.
I highly recommend the SWR Trident or Gemtech MultiMount for use on multiple guns and the latest version of the AAC EVO-9 or Ti-Rant for use on a single screw on platform.
Extra adapter "piston" mounts can be had for the EVO-9 with different threading. I have an EVO-9, and both the 13.5x1LH metric, and the 1/2x28tpi fittings. I'm sure a lot of other brands also have adaptive mounts.
