Tell me about the S&W 3953 TSW. Are they reliable???

In my experience all the 3rd Generations are extremely reliable. My 3913 (not TSW) and 4513TSW are some of my favorites. I believe the only real difference in the 3953 is that it's DAO.

The Third Generation S&W autos (all metal frames, made of either aluminum or steel), were well built and very reliable. Unfortunately the lower production costs of polymer frame designs, like those of Glock, Springfield Armory's XD, and S&W's own Sigma and M&P series, brought about the end of the all metal autos at S&W. The Model 3953 TSW is a very clean DAO design which came out of S&W's Performance Center and is perfectly set-up for CCW.
