The Chief Financial Officer and I were at the gun shop doing some window shopping and I noticed a Smith and Wesson 432. I like the 32 Magnum and I am always looking for a new gun to buy for the wife, so I asked the shop-keep to see it. It was amazing. All of my guns are steel, and I have no experience with any aluminum or alloy or titanium guns, but it was light. I could carry; I mean the wife could carry that in her pocket and never notice it. I really think my key chain has more heft to it.

I know some one here has one or two of them… how do they shoot?

Check this thread. Very light. They do have a very different recoil impulse from an all-steel J frame or even the aluminum/steel models; it's very short and sharp. With the hammerless Centennial-style models you can (and should) choke up on the grip and you'll find the gun recoils almost straight to the rear, which helps control the gun for follow-up shots.

By the way, I assume you mean a 342? Aluminum alloy frame, titanium cylinder. There is also a 442, alloy frame and carbon steel cylinder; that weighs 3 or 4 ounces more than the al/ti version.

I believe the Airlite Sc/Ti .32 H&R Magnum was the M332, and is no longer made. 11.9 oz

The M432 .32 H&R Mag is the Airweight, and S&W just started making them again recently. 13.9 oz

The thread referenced above discussed the .38 Special M342, not the .32 H&R Mag M332.
