Loaded up 500rds of 9mm on the LnL today (just started back with the weather) and was just double checking a few things...

With rifle brass is there anything different other than trimming? And you only swag primer pockets when it is converted, not every time, right?

I never really got into loading my 300blk so I have been on the first 1000rds of brass from last year

Primer pockets only need to be swaged on crimped brass the first time. After that, there should be no problem. Just load as you would anything else.

If you trim your brass, you'll probably need to debur and chamfer the mouth. Other than that, not really much else to it.

Setting the sizer up is more critical, then trim, deburr, and chamfer. No neck flare after sizing for 99% of applications. Lightly lube case necks or use a carbide expander ball or bushing die. Swaging or cutting military crimp is only needed if you use converted .223 brass which had crimped primers, and then only once. If you converted the brass you may need to neck turn or ream.

The worst part about rifle brass is the case prep...it the most time consuming part, if you get you a wft trimmer an chuck it in a drill you'll fly through the trimming step.
