O.K. .... For no good reason other tham I want to tinker...
I have a Sako in 280 that is in need of a synthetic stock, so ineed suggestions as to maker etc. At first blush a McMillan seems like as good a choicr as any. But, I'm sure there some equally good options from other makers out there that I'm not too familiar with.
I'm looking to keep the factory wood in good shape & since this is my favorite rifle a stock swap seems like a good idea.
The gun is unusual in that it has a 24" barrel & the stock cross bolts a la the sako 7 mags.
