T/C R22 rifle

Handled one and gotta say, these are very nice rifles - they may have out-Rugered the Ruger. Yes they take 10/22 mags, but it's more appealing and appears to be a better value - it comes with a 16.5" barrel, threaded 1/2x28, nice peep rear sight, FO front sight, OD green stock, and a built-in Pic rail for about the same price. Fit and finish look very good.

Very intriguing if you like semi-auto .22s. Anybody have one?

I bought one. Came with barrel canted...easy enough fix to loosen clamp adjust and tighten down. Another problem was with the rear peep as low as it would go it still shot high at 25 yards. Huge barrel droop. Took the barrel clamp off and barrel fell right out...no interference fit...a real sloppy fit. Tried a Ruger barrel in the receiver and it was sloppy too so my guess is the receiver bore is oversized. Sent it in for warranty work and got the same receiver and barrel back...no improvement on sight. I've still got it so I'll either have to send it back in or get rid of it and wait till gen 2 comes out and get another one. I will say it is very accurate though.

$50 rebate on them till Dec 31... I wonder why they are offering a rebate already on a gun that just came out????
