T/C T-17 Premoistened patches

Some of you may know that I bought a T/C Omega a week ago. I fired a few rounds with the iron sights then cleaned it with T-17 patches that also contain "a rust inhibitor". Before shooting the muzzloader today I ran a dry patch down the barrel to clean out any residue left by the T-17 patch. The only thing the dry patch removed was a crap load of rust. Made sure I ran a dry patch and a lightly oiled patch after cleaning today. These T-17 patches did not inhibit rust for me.

I noticed the same with my Triumph. I dont think the standard rod tip is big enough to press the patches in my barrel tightly enough to clean well or oil for storage.

Interesting. My brass jag with the pre-moistened patches seems to be a snug fit. But the brass jag with standard round patches is a bit loose.
