Tactical Light for XD40 (XD9102)

Hi All, I tried searching threads for this topic but didn't find anything so I was hoping to get some responses from XD40 owners with tactical lights.

I just purchased an XD9102 Service Model .40cal, 4" barrel and I am currently waiting to pick it up. (California 10 day waiting period)

The Tac Lights below are the ones I have seen and "tried on" at the shop and the description of what I thought. Any input or experiences is greatly appreciated because I want to have the light by the time I pick up my XD.

1) Insight Technology X2 Sub Compact Tactical Illuminator
This one seemed a bit too small for the XD40, it went all the way back on the rail and was very secure, was easy to take on and off but I am hoping for something LED, and brighter, but that is not definite. This one is around 40 Lumens, not very bright compared to others I've been researching.

2) Streamlight M3 Tactical Gun Mount Illuminator
This one looked great on the XD but it overhangs the end of the rail by just a tad, I'm sure that's fine but it is NOT LED and was very difficult to remove once on. Does anyone own this light? I'm leaning twards something this size.

The one I have not been able to try on but looks good as far as pricing goes and is LED and seems to get great ratings everywhere I look is the Streamlight TLR-1 LED Tactical Gun Mount Weaponlight I looked at the specs on this one and it comes with different adaptors for different rail types, I'm not sure about that. I am finding it online and don't want to buy this one if it does not fit the XD40, more specifically the 9201 Model. Does anyone own this TLR-1 LED on an XD40? I see reviews of owners of XD45's and they love it but nothing on the XD40.

I have an X200A and like it a lot. I like it much better than streamlight's LED offering. The X200's toggle can be pushed like a button for momentary light and it also has a very focused beam. I've actually taken it off my XD9 Tactical and keep it on my AR.

A very handy and robust light, IMHO.

With the exception of the subcompacts, if a light fits one XD it will fit them all.

I've got an Insight M3 on my XD 9 service model, functions well but does get dirty if I fire magazines through it with the light attached. PLUS if you want a holster with the light on, get ready to shell out some serious cash.

Another option that I'm looking at right now is this guy:

Safariland RLS

Nice setup, light has a belt clip to put on a duty belt or any normal belt, and snaps onto your picatinny rail but folds up to the side so it doesn't get muzzle blast on it.
