I was looking for a alternative to buying an assault rifle and came across a bullpup stock for my marlin 60. I was just wanting the ar-15 because it looked cool but the bullpup has a tactical look to it for only $130. Does anyone have experience with a bullpup stock or know of another stock for the marlin.

Are you talking about the Muzzelite bullpup stock? If so, I'd stay away. The one I tried felt flimsy and had a horrendous trigger. Use the search engine to look up other folks' opinions of the Muzzelite (often mispelled Muzzlelite) stock, and you'll probably find that 75% of them are pretty negative.

For about $50, you can buy a "Dragunov" style stock for your Marlin 60, but I haven't heard either way as to the quality of those.

Or for about $8, you could spraypaint your stock black and glue on some metal punk spikes from Hot Topic. If aesthetics is the priority, you might as well have fun with it.

Should you want a quality .22 bullpup in the future, check out Dixie Consolidated, $185 plus any Ruger 10/22 you have sitting around, but no Marlin version available:
