Tactical Persuader vs. 500SP

Ok this has me stumped. It looks like two Mossberg shotguns that appear to be almost identical, in fact the only difference I can see is the price and maybe barrel length. I tried emailing Impact about it but had no reply.

Someone know whats going on?

One has a Heat Shield and the other one doesn't. Mossberg HS cost about $40 if you bought one separate.

Ah that appears to be true now that I look at it. I wonder if the barrel is actually different lengths ?

the only difference is the heat shield other than that identical

the barrel on both is 18 inch same stock same grip same model 500 frame and same 5 shot tube
