Tactical Pistol classes in VA

I'm near Charlottesville, and wanted to see if anyone had any experience or recommendations for any classes like this in or around the area. Thanks!

TSA in Surry is D.R. Middlebrooks' point-shooting home range. After taking his course I found it to be a great way for me to "improvise, adapt, and overcome" presbymyopia (old eyes). If you do not get the heebie-jeebies over point-shooting I recommend D.R. highly.

Frank Borelli www.borelliconsulting.com is in the Stafford area and has a good reputation.

Pat Goodale's PFT is not too far away near Lewisburg, WV off of I-64 West.

I highly recommend his training.

I agree with mosrogfor, I have been to several classes at PFT. Pat makes sure you get your monies worth, very organized and informative. He is a top notch instructor and has great personnel.

From Charlottesville, the drive to Lewisburg is easy enough. Consider the two day defensive handgun class (I & II) which are on Saturday and Sunday. That equals about 18hrs. of training. Also, take plenty of ammo, you will use it!
