Okay, right off the bat let me say that I respect what TBTN believes it's trying to accomplish.

HOWEVER

So far what I've seen in person is a lot of hippie, hug the world, if we stand around in a group we can get something done, type of behavior. You know, defeat evil by having a hug and a group song.

You can guess where that puts their view on RKBA.

Sorry if I sound terribly cynical but marching 200 people down a street for one night has NO long term effect on crime in an area.

This is a pretty useless event - people stand around outdoors on one night in large enough groups to cause most of the BGs to either take a night off or do business elsewhere. However, on the other 364 nights......

I don't know if its changed since I went to college 15 years ago, but the 'group think' tended to follow the raging radical feminist track and the marches turned into male bashing fests.

All the TBTN people I've known want all men disarmed completely (if you know what I mean ... I guess they figure we can use artificial insemination to continue the species).

I seem to recall that TBTN lobbied Lautenberg and then praised him after the Lautenberg Amendment passed. (did a quick google for news stories about this but came up empty, so take if as a rumor, not fact)

Left wing radicals all. One of the authors of the starter book lived in a tenement 3 Decker under my wife’s family. She was a true leftist hippy who even forgave the (ethnic) killer who stabbed her son to death for his jacket.

IMHO they are liberal pieces of crap, not really interested in self-defense.
