I'm too late..................Buy it and post a nice review thread for us!!! :neener:

You don't want of those... What are going to use it for? A coffee table decoration? Blech! Take the money you were going to spend on this, and buy some new hubcaps for your car, or something else practical...

How's that Furncliff? Did it work?

Post up some pics of your new toy.

Or your new hubcaps,, which ever you decide on that is...

I've heard nothing but high praise for the T9. But I've never seen them for less than $850 in a store, maybe online.

Wouldn't you rather have a great big magnum powered revolver? You could probably get an 8 shot 357 for the about the same price.

A beautiful T9 with night sights just went for the unbelievable price of $451 on one of the gun sites. Someone got a great deal.

I've shot them before, and the steel-framed Kahrs have beautiful triggers on them. As said above, if you can get one for a reasonable price (~$500), go for it. I'm glad I didn't see that auction for $451...

The wife has a Kahr K9, which I have shot. I loved the trigger, which is what made me consider the T9. I got an awful price on the K9, so I won't talk about that.

I did get a really good price for a NIB T9 from SportingArms in Lewisville, TX. These folks come highly recommended.

The T9 is an awesome pistol. The full trigger pull arc is about as long as that on a Glock, but it is smoother and has a defined break at the end. The pistol sits nicely on my hand; because it is a single-stack (8-round), I can wield the pistol with the centerline of the barrel centered with my forearm while leaving plenty of finger to pull the trigger. I can't do that with double-stack pistols, except when in SA mode.

Both the K9 and T9 are very accurate.

I own a PM9 and it is flawless. I own a K9 and it is flawless. I wish I cold come upon a T9. Hell you never even see them sitting around new, let alone use. That T9 IMO is just a super handgun, made to go bang every time to.

They're made by Taurus, that's what the "T" stands for - a factory designator code.

Spanish/Brazilian potmetal.

well i guess it's a good thing i let it slip by then

krs was joking. No Kahr is made by Taurus, Taurus' aren't made of pot metal, and, last I heard, Brazil was a former Portugese, not Spanish, colony.

also the slides on the kahrs are ALL 4140 bar stock stainless

bja5006 "test them on animals" I know they test them on kaliban but never their animals

The T-9 and T-40 seem to be fairly rare.

You can get the T-9s for under $600 on line. Without night sites they are common for $530 or so. My complaint was that mine had a sharp point on the off side of the mag release.

I also had trouble releaseing the mag. In my hands the grip slightly blocked my thumb.

I added Novaks, had it dehorned, the mag well opened and the grip releived and all is good now.

Try to hang some after photos this weekend

LOVE IT:) Here are the other Kahrs:

I was trying to make light of the fact that I regretted letting the T9 get by me. I had looked into the target model some years ago and liked what I saw. I was a bit shocked to see it at auction and at that price. I have no excuse for why I didn't bid on it. <place bang head here>
