Whats the concensus on this knife? My dad has had one for years and I think I'd like to pick one up, but, ouch! Not cheap. Any reasonable sources for used ones?
 
One of the finest knives made by anyone anywhere!

Finding a good used one is going to be a daunting process. If you try the standard online auction sites you probably won't get it for a great price, but might for a good price. If you're willing to flea market then hit the pawn shops and flea markets in your area.
 
Has this knife been renamed the "New Hunter" ? I've seen several ads that seem to combine the names New and White with Hunter and the pics look quite similar.

The new hunter doesnt have a guard like the old one. I want one but some places are charging crazy prices for them.
