This is one I don't understand (well, all of their 327s, not just this one). In a J-frame sized revolver, .32's can have 6 round capacity. This has the same 1.41" cylinder as the 6 shot .38spl 856. I'd have been interested in that platform with a 7 round capacity, but not with the same 6 round capacity as my 856 Defender. I guess I can see the draw of it if you are very recoil sensitive (and only load .32H&R since I doubt the .327mag will be more comfortable than .38+P), but I still don't understand why Taurus didn't put one more round into it. If the pressure of .327mag is too much for 7 rounds in that cylinder, make it .32H&R and get the capacity.
Where does it fill a hole in their lineup? The 856 line is no larger and also holds 6 rounds. The .327mag provides similar power to .38+P but with more recoil. I just don't see the marketing niche, other than for die hard .32cal fans (and how many are there really).
